Wildwoods BASH 2011
Join us for the Ogden Nature Center’s 26th Annual Wildwoods BASH on Friday, September 9th at 5 pm. The Wildwoods BASH is an enchanted evening of dragonflies flitting above, scrumptious gourmet fare, jivin’ jazz and chances to acquire the perfect nature-inspired gifts and experiences at our auctions, both silent and audible. All proceeds benefit the Ogden Nature Center’s two nature preserves totaling 175 acres of open space & nature education for our community. This fun, casual fundraising event is held outdoors in the glen behind the Visitor Center. Dinner will be catered and donated by local restaurants including Roosters Brewing Co., Bistro 258, The City Club, Grounds for Coffee, Maddox Ranch House, Peddlers, Sandy’s Fine Foods, Sonora Grill, Union Grill and MacCools Public House.
Some of the items featured in this year’s auction include:
- A new Old Town canoe
- A weekend stay in Jackson Hole, WY with breakfast and a guided backcountry experience
- An authentic French dinner for 6 served in your home
- An oil painting of the Art Nord Trailhead by Deb Marin
- Two original paintings by Salt Lake City artist, Anne Becker
- An airplane ride for two over the Spiral Jetty
- A bench made from recycled snowboards
- A catered party for 20 in the Ogden Nature Center’s treehouse
- Dinners, outdoor experiences, outdoor gear and much more!
All proceeds from the Wildwoods BASH support the Ogden Nature Center’s award-winning environmental education programs for school children, nature programs for the community and two beautiful nature preserves, totaling over 175 acres of open space in Ogden.
