Ogden Nature Center

Remember ONC PDF Print E-mail

Objective

Help students review what they learned during their visit to the Nature Center using various creative mediums.

Materials

Varied, see below

Procedure

  1. As a class brainstorm memories and images of their visit and write all ideas on the board.
  2. Allow students to work in small groups or by themselves.  Provide various mediums to allow students to be creative and go on a writing or visual arts adventure.

Options that you could offer include:  torn paper collages, water colors, dramatic arts (students could write simple skits to reenact something they remember), poetry forms such as haiku and limericks, and whatever else you might like to incorporate.

Remember what you have seen,

because everything forgotten

returns to the circling winds.
