Ogden Nature Center

Our Wildlife Education Specialists bring live animals such as owls, hawks, tortoises and snakes to your location. You'll learn the importance of native animals in our ecosystems and respect for living creatures and their habitats.  Programs are usually 30-45 minutes long.

For classroom visits, program content is based on Utah Science Core Curriculum Life Science goals and objectives and uses grade appropriate concepts and vocabulary.

Are owls wise? Find out as you learn owl facts and fiction from around the world while meeting three different owls from the Ogden Nature Center. 

The Talent of Talons / $60

This program is an introduction to birds of prey and their unique adaptations.  You'll meet three of Ogden Nature Center's resident raptors.  

Revealing Reptiles / $30

Have you ever wanted to touch a snake or see a tortoise in his shell?  Meet a Desert Tortoise and one of our snakes as we discuss reptiles and their habitats.
