Supporting the Ogden Nature Center

Ogden Nature Center needs your help in providing Northern Utah's children and adults opportunities to experience the natural world through our 152-acre nature preserve and extensive environmental education programs.  Your support will help us continue serving more than 24,000 students, teachers, and families every year.

Our on-site science and nature education programs for school children are the core of our work. Working together with area schools, we feature changing monthly topics and create a powerful, positive environment where children connect with nature.

A free week-long camp in August gives under served middle school age kids the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities and quality outdoor experiences coupled with nature science. We also offer nature camps all summer long for the children in the community at large.

Our community education programs offer life-long learners the chance to enjoy nature and learn new skills.  We also offer preschool programs, self-guided tours for all ages, after-school scout programs, and more.

Your help will assist us in providing Northern Utah's community opportunities to experience the natural world and to develop a deeper understanding of their relationship with the land in which we live.  Our intention is to create an environmentally educated citizenry, one that encompasses our mission of uniting people with nature and nurturing appreciation and stewardship of the environment.
