Kneehigh Naturalists

This hour-long program is designed for learners 3-5 years of age. Join us for this year's theme of season. Explore wildlife and nature through games, crafts stories and live animal introductions. Reservations required!  Dress for the weather as all lessons will be held outdoors. Non-registered siblings will not be allowed to attend due to spacing limitations.

Classes for preschool groups (over 5 students) are available to be scheduled during the regular preschool time slots. The maximum number of students in one session is 30. Please call to reserve a preschool class if you are registering more then 5 students.  

Cost 

  • Ogden Nature Center Members -$10.00 per child/parent
  • Non-members $12.00 per child/parent
  • Groups (over 5 students) $8 per child/parent

Leaves and Trees

Explore trees in the fall and learn what they do for both humans and animals. Learn the difference between evergreen trees (coniferous) and trees that lose their leaves (deciduous).

Plants and Animals Prepare for Winter

Migrate through nature in autumn and find out how our feathered friends generate energy during the cold winter months. Visit the bear den and get a feel for hibernation.
