The Ogden Nature Center is a 152-acre nature preserve and education center. Our facilities provide spaces for meetings, classes, and special events.
- The Ogden Nature Center provides a casual, yet beautiful natural setting for weddings, parties and meetings.
- We are located in the heart of the city, but you will feel like you are miles away, with meadows, winding trails and stunning vistas all around.
- The Nature Center offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate groups of different sizes.

- Renters are responsible for providing all decorations, food and beverages.
- Renters are responsible for the set-up and clean-up of their event. This includes removing off site all personal items, decorations, food and garbage.
- No smoking or vaping inside or out!
- We do not allow grills of any kind (propane or charcoal) on the property for rentals. Call us at 801-621-7595 for more information.
- Do not disturb the wildlife.
- No pets (service animals are welcome).

Fees
- $200
- Ogden Nature Center Members: $175
- $100 non-refundable deposit (This deposit will be applied toward the total cost)
Rental Fee Includes:
- Maximum occupancy of 30 people (Includes kids and adults)
- Nature-themed party favors (up to 15 free; $5 for each additional)
- A special gift for the birthday person
- Rentals include setup of three tables and 30 chairs for seating and one table for food/drinks, your event, and cleanup.
- Use of Visitor Center restrooms
Additional Offerings
- A free story and/or game.
- $25 for an Ogden Nature Center host to lead a short walk.
- $50 for an educational presentation. An Ogden Nature Center host can lead an animal presentation—your choice of a tortoise, rabbit, ferret, or snake. Not recommended for children under 3 years old.
- $100 for additional 15-minute bird presentation, by special arrangement.
- $25 for additional animal ambassador (snake, tortoise, or rabbit)
Renter Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for
- Decoration setup and removal
- Removal of all food and decorations after the event
- Removal of all trash.
- Event deposits are non-refundable. Events will be held rain or shine unless Ogden Nature Center is closed due to severe weather conditions. There is NO RAIN PLAN at ONC.
- Client agrees to be responsible for any damages and/or theft to the premises, including its furniture, fixtures, equipment, and table accessories by his/her guests, invitees, employees, or other agents under the client’s control.
- Ogden Nature Center allows catering, including self-catering, from any vendor. Please note that drop-offs must happen within the specified rental time.
- If alcohol is to be served, a licensed bartender must be present
- Decorations: Streamers, banners, tablecloths, etc. are permitted. Balloons, confetti, straws, and piñatas are not permitted. This is for the safety of our ambassadors and the wildlife on grounds.
- NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed anywhere on the grounds or in the building.
- Please make sure your guests DO NOT DISTURB the wildlife
- NO PETS are allowed at any time. (Service animals are always welcome, but must stay away from the mews. All service animals must be leashed.)
- Children must be supervised at all times
- No lit flames are allowed. Please use battery operated candles if candles are desired.
Things to know:
- Parking is approximately 800 to 1000 feet from the Visitor Center. There is one handicap parking stall near the Visitor Center, and room for two additional vehicles.
