Pink Moon Celebration
Come celebrate the rising of the Pink Moon at Ogden Nature Center! The Pink Moon is the name given to April’s fall moon, in honor of the pink flowers that pop up as a sign of spring’s arrival. We'll start by making flower and moon themed crafts, then hear from NASA Ambassador Jen Jones discuss the upcoming Artemis missions. And of course, there will be an opportunity to view the full moon up close and personal through telescopes.

City Nature Challenge 101: Everything You Need to Know to Join the Fun

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you're already a perfect person to help with the City Nature Challenge, an international event where community scientists around the globe compete to upload the most photographic evidence of their local flora and fauna to the iNaturalist app. We'll teach you how to use the app and how to get involved in the City Nature Challenge with hand-on practice right here at ONC.
