Nature Trivia Night
Test your knowledge with other nature lovers in a team of 1-6. The winning team will earn a $25 gift certificate to our Nest Gift Shop.

Guided Bird Walk
Join an ONC naturalist and fellow bird nerds on a tour through 1.5 miles of walking trails through the Nature Center. Learn about different species that migrate in and out of our region seasonally and how to spot them. We encourage you to bring your own binoculars, but spares are available to borrow.

Forest Bathing
Join us for a morning of peace and mindfulness with certified Forest Bathing Guide, Ian Napper! Forest Bathing (aka shinrin-yoku) is an opportunity to slow down, come home to the present moment, reconnect to Nature, and create spaciousness. This hour-and-a-half session will guide guests with invitational options into mindful movement, mindful breathing, centering, directed awareness, and other experiential practices while we engage with moment and the more-than-human-world. Expect light walking and some sitting on the ground.

Chocolate Tasting
Learn the history of cacao and chocolate and how conscious cacao farmers, chocolate makers, and consumers can come together to improve our planet and the livelihood of its people! Enjoy fine flavor bean to bar chocolate through a guided chocolate tasting with ethical Seek Chocolate Shop owner, Tye Marie Reeder. Go on a taste buds journey 20° north and south of the equator to many of the world’s beautiful cacao farms!

Winter Faerie Houses
Learn about some of the many fairytales and myths about miniature creatures while decorating a tiny home for your garden. Craft supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring any additional materials.

Requests for cancellation 48 hours prior to the program will be honored with a full refund, less credit card processing fees. Cancellation less than 48 hours will only be refunded (less credit card processing fees) if the slot can be filled from a waiting list.
